Definition
A step taken by the employer on the contractor’s serious default, under which the remaining works are completed at the contractor’s expense and the guarantee is called.
Example
The works were withdrawn after the damages cap was exceeded and the site stopped.
Where it is used
The employer’s last instrument before termination.
